A Christmas Message From Pope Francis

Solemnity of the Lord's Birth
Central Loggia of the Vatican Basilica, at 12:00

"URBI ET ORBI" Blessing
MESSAGE OF HIS HOLINESS
POPE FRANCIS

CHRISTMAS DAY 2015

Dear brothers and sisters, Happy Christmas!

Christ is born for us, let us rejoice in the day of our salvation!

Let us open our hearts to receive the grace of this day, which is Christ himself.  Jesus is the radiant “day” which has dawned on the horizon of humanity.  A day of mercy, in which God our Father has revealed his great tenderness to the entire world.  A day of light, which dispels the darkness of fear and anxiety. A day of peace, which makes for encounter, dialogue and, above all, reconciliation.  A day of joy: a “great joy” for the poor, the lowly and for all the people (cf. Lk 2:10).

On this day, Jesus, the Saviour is born of the Virgin Mary.  The Crib makes us see the “sign” which God has given us: “a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger” (Lk 2:12).  Like the shepherds of Bethlehem, may we too set out to see this sign, this event which is renewed yearly in the Church.  Christmas is an event which is renewed in every family, parish and community which receives the love of God made incarnate in Jesus Christ.  Like Mary, the Church shows to everyone the “sign” of God: the Child whom she bore in her womb and to whom she gave birth, yet who is the Son of the Most High, since he “is of the Holy Spirit” (Mt 1:20).  He is truly the Saviour, for he is the Lamb of God who takes upon himself the sin of the world (cf. Jn 1:29).  With the shepherds, let us bow down before the Lamb, let us worship God’s goodness made flesh, and let us allow tears of repentance to fill our eyes and cleanse our hearts.  This is something we all need!

He alone, he alone can save us.  Only God’s mercy can free humanity from the many forms of evil, at times monstrous evil, which selfishness spawns in our midst.  The grace of God can convert hearts and offer mankind a way out of humanly insoluble situations.

Where God is born, hope is born.  He brings hope.  Where God is born, peace is born.  And where peace is born, there is no longer room for hatred and for war.  Yet precisely where the incarnate Son of God came into the world, tensions and violence persist, and peace remains a gift to be implored and built.  May Israelis and Palestinians resume direct dialogue and reach an agreement which will enable the two peoples to live together in harmony, ending a conflict which has long set them at odds, with grave repercussions for the entire region.

We pray to the Lord that the agreement reached in the United Nations may succeed in halting as quickly as possible the clash of arms in Syria and in remedying the extremely grave humanitarian situation of its suffering people.  It is likewise urgent that the agreement on Libya be supported by all, so as to overcome the grave divisions and violence afflicting the country.  May the attention of the international community be unanimously directed to ending the atrocities which in those countries, as well as in Iraq, Libya, Yemen and sub-Saharan Africa, even now reap numerous victims, cause immense suffering and do not even spare the historical and cultural patrimony of entire peoples. My thoughts also turn to those affected by brutal acts of terrorism, particularly the recent massacres which took place in Egyptian airspace, in Beirut, Paris, Bamako and Tunis.

To our brothers and sisters who in many parts of the world are being persecuted for their faith, may the Child Jesus grant consolation and strength.  They are our martyrs of today.

We also pray for peace and concord among the peoples of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and South Sudan, that dialogue may lead to a strengthened common commitment to the building of civil societies animated by a sincere spirit of reconciliation and of mutual understanding.

May Christmas also bring true peace to Ukraine, offer comfort to those suffering from the effects of the conflict, and inspire willingness to carry out the agreements made to restore concord in the entire country.

May the joy of this day illumine the efforts of the Colombian people so that, inspired by hope, they may continue their commitment to working for the desired peace.

Where God is born, hope is born; and where hope is born, persons regain their dignity.  Yet even today great numbers of men and woman are deprived of their human dignity and, like the child Jesus, suffer cold, poverty, and rejection.  May our closeness today be felt by those who are most vulnerable, especially child soldiers, women who suffer violence, and the victims of human trafficking and the drug trade.

Nor may our encouragement be lacking to all those fleeing extreme poverty or war, travelling all too often in inhumane conditions and not infrequently at the risk of their lives.  May God repay all those, both individuals and states, who generously work to provide assistance and welcome to the numerous migrants and refugees, helping them to build a dignified future for themselves and for their dear ones, and to be integrated in the societies which receive them.

On this festal day may the Lord grant renewed hope to all those who lack employment – and they are so many!; may he sustain the commitment of those with public responsibilities in political and economic life, that they may work to pursue the common good and to protect the dignity of every human life.

Where God is born, mercy flourishes.  Mercy is the most precious gift which God gives us, especially during this Jubilee year in which we are called to discover that tender love of our heavenly Father for each of us.  May the Lord enable prisoners in particular to experience his merciful love, which heals wounds and triumphs over evil.

Today, then, let us together rejoice in the day of our salvation.   As we contemplate the Crib, let us gaze on the open arms of Jesus, which show us the merciful embrace of God, as we hear the cries of the Child who whispers to us: “for my brethren and companions’ sake, I will say: Peace be within you” (Ps 121[122]:8).

Driver Runs Over Pedestrians On The Vegas Strip 12/20/2015

Wow. I literally just got home from Bellagio in Las Vegas where the tragedy described below took place. My luggage is not even unpacked yet. Thank God I made it out of there in the nick of time. It gave me the chills when I heard this story on the news. I cross the street from Bellagio to Planet Hollywood all the time directly where this incident took place. Look at the chaos in the picture. It is really something when the intentional or negligent acts of one person cause so much harm to innocent people who are just out trying to enjoy life.

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police said that a crash that killed 1 person and injured 36 others along the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night may have been intentional, but was not an act of terrorism.

The crash happened at 6:38 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard just in front of the Paris hotel-casino.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, a vehicle veered onto the sidewalk and hit several people. The driver then steered back into the street before steering back onto the sidewalk and hitting another group of people. The driver fled the scene of the crash, but was found at an off-Strip hotel-casino near the intersection of Koval Lane and Flamingo Road.

Initially, 34 people were taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to police. One of those people succumbed to their injuries. Seven of them were listed in critical condition. The remaining 26 were being treated for less-serious injuries. Four people were treated at the scene and released.

Danita Cohen, spokeswoman for University Medical Center, said the hospital received many of the patients, and their injuries range from broken bones to head injuries. She said most of them are adults, but an 11-year-old is among the victims and is listed in serious condition. She said many of the patients are from Montreal, Canada.

Other victims were taken to Sunrise and Spring Valley hospitals for treatment.
Police said the woman driver of the vehicle has been arrested in connection with the crash. While her identity was not immediately released, police said she had only been in Las Vegas for a short time. They said a 3-year-old was in the car with the woman at the time of the crash. The child was unharmed.

Las Vegas Boulevard was closed to traffic from Harmon Avenue to Flamingo Road while police were at the scene. The closure was expected to remain in place through much of Sunday night, police said.

Police said the investigation is in the initial stage and that video footage from multiple cameras will be reviewed to help piece together what happened.

My Past...Detective Jerry Gibson, LAPD

Isn’t life interesting? I’ve been waiting for quite some time for images of my ex-love interest Detective Jerry Gibson of the Los Angeles Police Department to surface in the media. I took my blog postings about Detective Gibson down some time ago because after examining my feelings, I realized that my intentions with him were pure and that I really liked him. His intentions, on the other hand, were less than honest even though the physical and mental chemistry between us was on point.

Sometimes you innocently let someone into your inner sanctity only for them to violate your trust or disrespect you. It can be very difficult to shake the stain that a person like that leaves on your life. However, once you realize that the issue is with them and not you, it will be easier to find the inner peace you need to move on. Detective Gibson left me with a lot of question marks in my mind but you have to let what is meant to be, be.

Thanksgiving In America 2015

My Drive To Breakfast On Thanksgiving Morning

Today I spent the American Thanksgiving holiday in an unconventional manner. It was an amazingly beautiful day, as you can see from the picture I’ve posted above, but it was neither a remarkable nor unremarkable day. You see I recently lost my father on 10/9/2015 and the pain is indescribable. My family fights over anything, everything and nothing. It is tragic when the people who are supposed to be the closest to you are the most distant at such a difficult time.  I am very spiritual though and I believe that God gives us pain to see what we will do with it. I accept my pain and know that it is my moral responsibility to help others who are also in pain.  The holidays are supposed to be enjoyable but ironically the holidays are a time when many people feel the most sad and empty. Not everyone has a loving family to be with or sometimes those we love just cannot be with us. And the emptiness caused by the death of someone we love is overwhelming, hard to understand and magnified during the holidays.

Two years ago I wrote a beautiful posting on Thanksgiving Day. Here is an excerpt from that posting I realized at that moment how blessed I truly am.  I have food to eat and water to drink.  I have a home to live in, a warm bed to sleep in and a car to drive.  I have money to spend and a way to earn money.  I can walk.  I can see.  And I have a healthy functioning brain.  I am disease free.  And both of my parents are alive.  My list of blessings is long.  I realize that there are people who have no home, no food, no water, little or no money and no opportunity to make money.  Some people have cancer or other serious diseases.  Some are suffering in the hospital.  Some are addicted to drugs.  There are people who are mentally disabled.  And people who are experiencing deep physical or emotional pain. Little did I know when writing that posting two years ago that one of my parents would not be alive on Thanksgiving Day 2015.  My father had a severe ischemic stroke that changed the course of his life causing him to suffer in the hospital and to die too soon. It is mind blowing when I read my own words about my blessing of having food and water to drink, having a healthy functioning brain and being able to walk. I did not know while writing those words that two years later my father would not have a healthy functioning brain, would not be able to eat or drink, would not be able to walk, would have suffered in the hospital and that I would be the one in deep emotional pain. My father pleaded for water at the end of his life. He could not have any water because he could not swallow properly. It was gut wrenching. I will never be the same and I think of my father's agonizing condition literally every time I eat food and drink water.

So my message to you today is to please understand that at any moment your circumstances can change and every day is a day to be thankful for your blessings. And if you are feeling pain, you are not alone. Give your pain a purpose. Use the experience that has caused you pain to help others in despair. God bless you.

Paris, France 11/13/2015

Terrorists attacked Paris, France on 11/13/2015 in an orchestrated, collaborative act of pure evil. Over 100 innocent people were massacred and countless others injured for reasons which are just incomprehensible. These horrible events, which are getting more and more commonplace, remind us of how fragile life is and how vulnerable we all are as human beings. Have you ever encountered evil and hatred up close? I have but I fear no evil for I walk in the shadow of the Almighty One.

Please bow your head in a moment of silence and pray for Paris, France. Be fearless and strong and carry-on. And remember that good conquers evil. God bless.

In Honor of America's Veterans

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

The United States military is the strongest, most capable fighting force the world has ever known.  The brave men and women of our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard demonstrate a resolute spirit and unmatched selflessness, and their service reminds us there are few things more American than giving of ourselves to make a difference in the lives of others.  On Veterans Day, we reflect on the immeasurable burdens borne by so few in the name of so many, and we rededicate ourselves to supporting those who have worn America's uniform and the families who stand alongside them.

Our true strength as a Nation is measured by how we take care of our veterans when they return home, and my Administration is committed to ensuring our heroes and their loved ones have every chance to share in the promise they risked their lives to defend.  We have made it easier for veterans to convert their military skills to the civilian workforce, enabled more veterans and their family members to attain Federal education benefits, and expanded access to timely, quality health care for all veterans.  Just as every veteran deserves the support and benefits they have earned, those who have given everything to defend our homeland deserve a place of their own to call home.  To uphold this ideal, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden's Joining Forces initiative has forged partnerships with local leaders across America to uphold the dignity of every veteran and work to end veterans' homelessness.  No one who fights for our country should have to fight for the care they deserve.  Earlier this year, I was proud to sign the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act, which fills critical gaps in mental health care by raising awareness and taking steps to improve access to care for those suffering from the invisible wounds of war.

Our veterans left everything they knew and loved and served with exemplary dedication and courage so we could all know a safer America and a more just world.  They have been tested in ways the rest of us may never fully understand, and it is our duty to fulfill our sacred obligation to our veterans and their families.  On Veterans Day, and every day, let us show them the extraordinary gratitude they so rightly deserve, and let us recommit to pledging our full support for them in all they do.

With respect for, and in recognition of, the contributions our service members have made to the cause of peace and freedom around the world, the Congress has provided (5 U.S.C. 6103(a)) that November 11 of each year shall be set aside as a legal public holiday to honor our Nation's veterans.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim November 11, 2015, as Veterans Day.  I encourage all Americans to recognize the valor and sacrifice of our veterans through appropriate public ceremonies and private prayers.  I call upon Federal, State, and local officials to display the flag of the United States and to participate in patriotic activities in their communities.  I call on all Americans, including civic and fraternal organizations, places of worship, schools, and communities to support this day with commemorative expressions and programs.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand fifteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and fortieth.

BARACK OBAMA

Your Parents By Jacqueline Sebiane

Recently I experienced a pivotal moment in my life; a devastating event that has left an inexplicably deep wound in my heart. On September 9, 2015 I found my father in a very bad state. Within an instant of seeing him I knew it was a 9-1-1 emergency. The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived very quickly and rushed him to the hospital. Not long after I arrived at the hospital an ER Neurologist showed me a scan of my father’s brain and told me he’d had a major stroke and that it was a life changing event. His brain was swollen and bleeding. Due to his age and medical condition, the ER doctors could not do anything to treat the swelling. The Ischemic stroke left my father completely paralyzed and unable to properly swallow or talk. For an entire month I watched a grown man reduced to nothingness as he laid in a bed in agonizing pain unable to eat, drink or move and completely at the mercy of others. There are no words to describe what if feels like to see your father in this condition clinging to life with an uncertain future. Each time I went to see my father, I put my ear to his heart and closed my eyes to listen to his heartbeat not knowing if it would be the last time. On October 9, 2015, exactly one month from the day my father had a stroke, my father took his last breath and his spirit ascended into heaven to be with almighty God.

Readers, if you are blessed enough to have one or both of your parents still living, please cherish each moment with your parents. If you have any pain or resentment from your upbringing, ask God to heal your heart so you can fully give love to your parents. The pain of losing a parent is indescribable.

On the last day that I saw my father, my nephew Ben and I played a beautiful love song, All Of Me by John Legend, at my father’s bedside. We watched in silence as my mother held my father’s hand while the song played. I will never forget my father’s eyes as he held my mother’s hand while listening to the music. The love in the room was very profound.

This song is dedicated to my father Efrain and my mother Daisy.

Bill Auberlen Drives The McLaren F1 GTR

My long-time friend Bill Auberlen doing what he does for BMW Motorsport. If you are regular visitor of my blog you know that I had to put Bill to the curb. He was my friend for a long time and I kind of miss the unique bond I had with him. What can you do though. You have to let what is, be what it is.

The Bella Twins of WWE Rocking It For Muscle & Fitness

Nikki and Brie Bella of the WWE Universe epitomize health and vitality in this video for Muscle & Fitness Hers. They're adorable. And I am stating the obvious when I say it looks like they could be my sisters.

Nikki is more on the muscular side and that look works for her. Sexy comes in all body types and society is finally starting to accept that. On a recent episode of Total Divas Nikki called herself "thick Nikki" and stated that she liked and accepted herself. Female models in particular, and women in general, don't have to be super lean or under weight to be perceived as attractive. Some people are just naturally leaner than others. And there is a broad spectrum of body types and related factors in between. For example, there are people who are lean because they eat a low fat, balanced diet and workout while there are people who are naturally lean no matter how much or how bad they eat. Personally, I prefer to be physically fit and I am constantly working on my fitness goals and striving to look and feel good for my own self-esteem.

Working out is amazing. There are so many benefits to working out... staying or getting fit, building strength, losing weight, sculpting your muscles, increasing your energy, strengthening your bones, increasing circulation, boosting your self-esteem, creating or maintaining discipline, feeling good, looking good and the best benefit of all which society doesn't like us to talk about. Ssshh!

A Tribute To The Foo Fighters From Cesena, Italy

This video of a 1,000 musicians collectively performing Learn To Fly by the Foo Fighters was made as a plea to get the band to come to Cesena to play a concert for the fans. How cool it is to be in a world renown rock band just doing what you love and have so many adoring fans all over the world just loving what you do. The plea worked and Dave Grohl humbly agreed in a video, delivered in the Italian language, that the band would come to Cesena to perform. This is proof positive of how powerful social media can be. What a heart-felt exchange of love between a band and the fans. Be sure to watch the video all the way through. The plea from the creator of the project comes at the end of the song and it is so special.

What Happens In Vegas Happens By Jacqueline Sebiane

Yesterday there was a raging fire at Bamboo Pool at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Vegas that left guests of the hotel scrambling for safety and on-lookers from neighboring hotels worried. The brave firefighters of the Clark County Fire Department acted swiftly to extinguish the fire preserving public safety and averting a number of tragedies that could have occurred had the fire spread.

I’ve been going to Las Vegas for many years and it has been a whirlwind. I have had some of the most memorable moments of my life in Vegas. I’ve met and had many relationships with men from all over the world, eaten in some of the best restaurants, luxuriated at some of the best pools and shopped my ass off. I’ve won very large amounts of money and I’ve lost bank too. I’ve fallen in love, laughed, cried, been elated, been devastated, been stressed, been pissed, been relaxed, couldn’t wait to go back and have sworn I would never go there again. I’ve been very disciplined and have made bad spur-of-the moment decisions too.

Vegas is an adult playground; a fantasy land that can be anything you want it to be. It is a place where people go to escape reality, be entertained, be pampered, relax, get wild, eat, shop and make interpersonal connections. And almost everyone there is trying to make some paper ($$$).

When I say I have seen and experienced it all in Vegas I mean it. One time I saw a man who was completely nude walking on the island of the street on Las Vegas Boulevard in broad daylight and no one flinched. Unbelievable! There is one thing I know for sure when it comes to Vegas… WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS HAPPENS contradictory to the popular mantra “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” There is also another saying which is more accurate… “Go to Vegas on vacation and leave on probation.” Those momentary experiences in Vegas could have consequences that have a lasting impact on your life. When people are in Vegas they think anything goes and that is simply not the case. The 24 hour gambling, the illusion that money is not an object, the illusion that time is non-existent, the free flowing alcoholic beverages, strangers willing to have a good time with you at the drop of a hat and easily accessible hotel rooms could all equal trouble. And men, beware of that good looking girl who is persistently soliciting your companionship.

Recently while in Vegas I had a romantic interlude with a British bloke who is a race car mechanic working in the motor sport race circuit with Bill Auberlen. It was bliss while it lasted but when I got home he turned out to be lacking in moral character making me wish I’d refrained from giving him any of my precious time and attention. The bad feeling I felt when I got home overshadowed any fun I had with him while in Vegas.

The purpose of this posting is to point out that Vegas can be so amazing. Go there and have a blast. Just remember to conduct yourself with decorum and self-respect.  The people you encounter in Vegas are real people and not play objects. The money you take to Vegas is real money. Know your limits and don’t get sucked into the vortex of excess that is Vegas.

The Mind Of An Athlete By Jacqueline Sebiane

While I was at the gym yesterday, I immediately hit the treadmill for a run. I have a very strong work ethic at the gym. I picked up that focus and determination from all the professional athletes I rubbed elbows with when I use to train at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, CA. And you know something funny? My ex-lover/ex-friend BMW Motorsport Race Car Driver Bill Auberlen is the polar opposite of me in the gym. Bill is fast on the race track but very slow and unfocused in the gym. He and I have been going to the same gym(s) (more than one) for years. We met at Gold’s Gym in Redondo Beach, CA USA a very long time ago. That is where I first caught his attention as he use to stare at me day after day dripping in sweat while I worked out so hard.  I am obsessed with working out. It’s a big part of me but sometimes work and life prevent me from going to the gym. Anyhow, back to the tread mill. I usually run for 30 straight minutes progressively increasing the speed. Towards the end of my run I am running very fast until I am finished. Since I’ve been away from the gym for a time, this was very difficult yesterday. My energy stores were low and my muscles were not having it. Quitting was not an option but with each step there was great pain. There is always a lot going on at the gym but I tuned out everything around me and kept repeating to myself “push through it, push through it…” until I successfully finished my run.

When I got home later that evening, the ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly) Awards came on. I watched intently as professional athlete after professional athlete was acknowledged for their stellar performances in their respective sports. The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team was acknowledged as Best Team for winning the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Amazing! UFC fighter Ronda Rousey won the Best Fighter award over Floyd Mayweather. What? Go Ronda. And Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Olympic great Bruce Jenner) was the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for having the balls (no pun intended) to recently transition into her authentic self despite worldwide public scrutiny. I use to do legal work for Speedo North America based in the UK and I had the privilege of working with multiple Olympic athletes, including Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time. What I am most impressed about with respect to professional athletes is their will, focus, strength and determination to push through adversity to excellence. Sports are really a metaphor for life. Those attributes and characteristics that professional athletes develop and apply while playing sports will help YOU get through life. Whatever your goals are and whatever obstacles you are facing, you can push through it. Tune out the noise, stay focused, believe in yourself and NEVER quit. Be courageous and carry on.

DIRTY Secrets: Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian

“Scott is a loser. Scott’s a drunk. Scott is out of control.” Those are just some of the ill-spirited comments being peppered all over the Internet about Scott Disick in response to his recent break-up with Kourtney Kardashian. Disick and Kardashian reportedly broke up over some pictures of Scott that surfaced of himself being romantic with another woman, celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli, in Monte Carlo.

Today Scott posted a picture on Instagram of himself on a private plane on the way to Las Vegas for a personal appearance with the following comment: letthelordbewithyou “On the way @1oaklv but before I take off the 70's called so I had to pick up.” And Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner commented as follows: caitlyn_bruce_jenner “Self absorbed, loser!

The media’s portrayal of Scott, and consequently public opinion, is overwhelmingly negative. People have a visceral reaction to what they see or hear in the media (which is rarely objective) based on their own experiences and viewpoints. So, for instance, if you are a single mom or were raised by a single mom, you most likely would view Scott’s partying ways as reprehensible and offensive in relation to his family (i.e., Kourtney and her kids). If you are a man who is in an unhappy relationship you might relate to Scott’s obvious disdain for being controlled and constantly emasculated by Kourtney and understand his need to escape. If you have substance abuse problems, you may view Scott as someone who is in need of treatment. If you are a Psychologist, you understand that Scott is struggling with life issues (i.e., the death of both his parents, an identity crisis, etc.) and is acting out in a cry for help. Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner, who is a high achiever and has much regard for family, has no tolerance for Scott's behavior. What I think when I hear all of the stories about Scott is that he is a man who does not have a firm sense of self, is confused about life and is in an unhappy relationship. Top all of that off with fame, excess and public insults and you have a person who is in a lot of pain. I wish someone would take Scott under their wing and give him some guidance and love.

The Art of Richard MacDonald By Jacqueline Sebiane

This is a video of my favorite sculptor magically creating masterpieces in his studio. I first discovered the art of Richard MacDonald when I went to see "O" by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio in Las Vegas years ago. Mr. MacDonald collaborated with Cirque du Soleil to create sculptures of the talented performers of the show and his art is on display in the corridor of the theatre. I remember being mesmerized by “O” and being in awe of Mr. MacDonald’s art leaving the show.

Richard MacDonald has an obvious God-given talent. What is your talent? Have you taken the time to explore your feelings and discover your talent? Are you living your life with passion and following your own path or are you living a life that someone else has imposed on you?

GTLM stars “agree to disagree” over clash that costs BMW squad precious time in Rolex 24.

Daytona Beach, Fla - BMW’s Bill Auberlen launched a staggering verbal attack on GTLM rival Nick Tandy of Porsche after they collided in the early hours of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, forcing Auberlen’s car to lose a lap due to repairs.

"You have to be a complete idiot to do that, and that’s what he is."
- Auberlen on contact with Tandy

Auberlen and Tandy have history from previous incidents in Tudor United SportsCar events, but when interviewed by IMSA's radio service pit reporter, he vented his fury.

'Worst driver in this paddock'
“He’s the worst driver in this paddock,” Auberlen raged. “He’s never gone by without trying to hit me. He got straight into the wheel, which put the energy straight into the suspension. You have to be a complete idiot to do that, and that’s what he is. I’m really disappointed. Thanks Nick Tandy, you’re a great racing driver."

Tandy responded: “Must be one of mine and Bill’s agreements to disagree. I was passing him on the outside. His car twitched and he moved over half a lane and we touched wheels.”

Tandy not pleased with Corvettes

Tandy then voiced his discontent with the driving of the Corvettes, with whom he’d been battling for the lead earlier. He had a wild moment through the NASCAR tri-oval after trying to pass Oliver Gavin on the apron.

"Bill is pretty hot-headed at times, and he gets spun-out pretty easily,
so sometimes we’ve all just got to take a breath."
- Oliver Gavin on Auberlen's rant

“The fight with the Corvettes at the start was interesting, they were playing hard, it was a bit marginal,” said Tandy, whose car leads the class. “With the slipstream you get close on the straights, and you have to decide whether to pass or sit behind.”

Gavin told Motorsport.com of the incident: “I knew he was there, the team were telling me and we have a radar system, and I was unsure of what he was trying to do. I’m on the banking, right on the yellow line and I don’t know where he was going to go! I know with Nick that he does try some pretty outrageous moves and he’s pretty inventive sometimes."

Gavin not as critical of Tandy

When told of Auberlen’s quotes, Gavin said: “Nick is hard, a hard driver. He’s very skilled and he’s very hungry. Every now and then he does step over the line; he gave me a couple of taps. I kind of expect that from Nick."

“Bill is pretty hot-headed at times, and he gets spun-out pretty easily, so sometimes we’ve all just got to take a breath. It’s all fine by me.”

Ending My Relationship With BMW Race Car Driver Bill Auberlen

Below is how I ended my relationship with BMW Race Car Driver Bill Auberlen. Recently I heard from a race car mechanic who hails from the UK that Bill has a very bad reputation in the racing circuit. Knowing Bill as intimately as I do that came as no surprise to me. I am very spiritual though and I believe that Bill was not meant to be in my life. God has a different plan for me.

My Ex-Lover Music Producer Scott Humphrey With Tommy Lee

If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that I use to do legal work for Motley Crue but primarily for Tommy Lee. That is how I met Canadian music producer Scott Humphrey. I was sitting in the kitchen of Can-Am Music Studio with Tommy when Scott came in. Tommy said “this is my producer Scott” followed by "this is Jacqi." Within minutes the two were whispering and Scott had told Tommy that he wanted me. Tommy immediately asked me to go out with Scott. Within the hour Scott and I were driving to his town home on Sunset Plaza just off the famed Sunset strip to pick up some materials and the rest is history. What a whirlwind love affair that was. That relationship did not last, however, because where there is a world class rock-n-roll band there is also mayhem (like the tatoo across Tommy's torso) and that is simply not my thing. Scott's mood swings were extremely intense and totally contradictory to my peaceful demeanor.  I will be writing more about the intimate details of my relationship with Scott and what it was like to work for Tommy Lee in my autobiography.

Below is a video of Tommy and Scott who have been best friends for a long time. It's kind of special the way the two have stuck together for years through the rough times; especially dealing with Motley Crue's lead singer Vince Neil who really gave Scott a hard time while he produced music for Motley Crue.

Bruce Jenner Comes Out As Caitlyn Jenner

If you are a regular follower of my blog, you know that I was friends with the late Joe Gold; the original founder of Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California.  I will be writing in detail about my crazy experiences at the renowned Gold’s Gym in my upcoming autobiography.  For purposes of this blog posting, however, I will share the following.  I use to be close friends with a prominent radio broadcaster named Frankie who was the star D.J. of WBLS radio station in New York.  Frankie lived in Beverly Hills on Mulholland Drive and gave me my first exposure to exotic Ferraris.  We use to work out together at Gold’s Gym, jump into one of his many Ferraris or his Rolls Royce and go eat. We either drove to the Good Earth Restaurant in Marina Del Rey or walked to the Rose Café (Arnold Schwarzenneger’s favorite) or the Firehouse (the body builders' hang out) which was on Main Street in Venice.  Anyone who knew Frankie knows that he spoke his mind.  And anyone who has ever been to Gold’s Gym knows that a large contingency of celebrities and pro athletes use to work out there.  That is where I use to see Bruce and Kris Jenner long before the Kardashian pop culture phenomenon existed.  At that time, Bruce was the famous one because of his success as an elite Olympic athlete. Little did I know that later in my legal career I would be working with numerous Olympic athletes; including Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time. Anyhow, on this one particular day Frankie and I were working out and Bruce Jenner came through the door wearing very short shorts and looking very feminine which caused everyone to stare and wonder. How haunting that memory is.

Unless you’ve been completely disconnected from the media, you most likely are aware that Bruce recently came out as a transgender woman.  I support and admire any person who has the courage to follow their own path in life.  Bruce’s new identity is Caitlyn Jenner.  Here is Caitlyn’s new Vanity Fair cover.

My Message To BMW Race Car Driver Bill Auberlen

My personal message to Bill:

You told me one too many lies and played one too many games still you cannot stay away, can you? You and I could NEVER be together because I am too smart and strong for you. You have to be with a dummy so you can get away with your games and PRETEND what is, isn't and what isn't, is. I know you will never forget me or our intimate history together but this song sums it up for me when it comes to you.  And guess what, I am still smiling and having a good life.  Kisses …

The Chase By Jacqueline Sebiane

Do you ever feel like you have to chase everyone and everything all the time?  I’ve been having a lot of revelations about life lately.  I’ve been reflecting back on my experiences and how those experiences made me feel at the time they happened and how I feel about those experiences now.  I’ve been soul searching in the quest for the meaning of my life.

I am a deep thinker and a very quiet person who is drawn to the ocean.  I am near the ocean almost every day… The Palos Verdes Peninsula, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Malibu Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach.  I am always at the beach.  When I am at the edge of the ocean there is an effortless flow of energy that causes me to be still in the majestic beauty.  Sometimes a cool breeze blows through my long hair as the sun kisses my face or warms my back.  Most times spectacular clouds, the ocean eddies, a mysterious fog or a colorful sunset creates a picture-perfect scenery.  When I am gazing out at the ocean, my soul is transported to another place and an overwhelming sense of peace takes over me.  I feel very spiritual and connected to God when I am gazing out at the water and breathing in the pristine air. I have come to realize that I want to feel as good as I feel when I am at the beach all of the time. God did not intend for us to live our lives constantly chasing things and struggling against the universe.

Are you always upset, worried, stressed out or in a hurry?  Are you stuck in a rut or routine so much so that you lost touch with yourself? Are you spending a great deal of time trying to fix people, situations or things? Are you constantly looking for love or chasing a relationship that is not reciprocal? Are you relentlessly chasing money or your dreams? All of that is so exhausting. Be rooted in awareness and let all of that go.  Make a decision today to let your life flow harmoniously in alignment with the universe. Still practice a strong work ethic to meet your needs and work on your goals but let your life unfold naturally and you will most certainly experience inner peace.

Life, Death and Fitness Model Greg Plitt

On January 17, 2015 at approximately 4PM renown fitness model Greg Plitt was tragically killed by a moving train in Burbank, CA while he was filming footage for one of his projects.  It was reported that he tripped over the train tracks in front of an oncoming locomotive and his destiny unfolded.

I post information and images of death all the time on my blog.  I don’t do it to be morbid but rather because death is a part of life.  No living being can escape death and we must come to the realization that at some point we will all have to deal with death and face our own death.  Death is not scary to me.  It is a graceful transition from a physical presence to an intangible ascension into the heavens.  The time and manner of our death is a mystery of which only our creator is in control.

I was entirely inspired by Greg’s drive, determination and strength.  He was the epitome of physical perfection.  Not only was he a prominent fitness model but he broke fitness modeling records by being on the cover of a fitness magazine every month for five straight years.  It was his discipline and strong work ethic that got him the covers. Greg was also an actor, a motivational speaker and an entrepreneur. He was a graduate of West Point, a former U.S. Army Ranger, a U.S. Military Academy graduate, a former Company Commander in charge of over 180 soldiers, a two time All-American and three time state champion wrestler, a professional skydiver and a golf club champion. All of Greg's accomplishments were obtained through his own drive and hard work.

Greg’s legacy will live on with the message being that you can do what you set your mind to if you are willing to do the work.

This is an excerpt of a message Greg’s family posted to his website regarding his untimely death:

We are devastated over the loss of our son. Your messages have uplifted us and give us strength; we thank you for that.  Greg’s soul is now with our heavenly Father. May his spirit live on through his website and through each of you.  As we mourn and honor our son and brother, how prophetic his own words…

When you are wondering how do you go on? The better question is, how do you NOT go on? – Greg Plitt

There will be a public memorial service in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2pm at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills. An additional service will be held in his hometown of Baltimore, MD the following week. Details will be shared as they are confirmed.
