Humble Yourself Or Be Humbled

My former hunk-of-a-man, love interest El Segundo Firefighter/Paramedic (and newly promoted Engineer) Clayton Holt once wrote me a strong email about our romantic relationship when he was perplexed about my intentions with him and how I felt about him. In the Subject field of the email he wrote No Title Necessary for a dramatic flair (and oh was he dramatic) to emphasize the fact that I most certainly was aware of the status of our then relationship, how the way I was interacting with him was making him feel and his strong desire to know what I wanted out of the relationship (that he emphasized by finishing with "SO WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and yes in all caps).

In the same but not exact spirit, the bible verse Matthew 23:12 needs no explanation. There are various versions of this scripture but the powerful message is exactly the same.

So remember... WHOEVER EXALTS HIMSELF SHALL BE HUMBLED AND WHOEVER HUMBLES HIMSELF SHALL BE EXALTED. No explanation necessary.

In A World Full Of Hate Be A Light

Hello everyone. Jacqueline Sebiane here praying that you are safe, healthy and at peace. Please enjoy this beautiful, meaningful song by country star Thomas Rhett which is extremely apropos for the current state of the world. The messages in the lyrics are simple; including this one "In a race you can't win slow it down... you only get one go around... cause the finish line is six feet in the ground." That lyric is a reminder of what I say all the time; that life has a beginning and an end. I believe that God allows the hard times to occur to bring awareness to the gifts He has bestowed upon us that are so often taken for granted by mankind. It is no coincidence to me that this pandemic arose at the most high Holy holiday. So remember that this too shall pass but may the silent messages from on High resonate with you forever more. Be patient and peaceful for after the rain comes a rainbow.

Just a picture, no description. The goal is to flood FB with positive photos instead of negativity. Please copy the text to your timeline, put up a picture and look at some great memories ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸"
