Alana Thompson On Social Media

Alana Thomson, aka Honey Boo Boo, is such a sweet little girl who is constantly targeted with hate. And many of you reading this know how that feels. The haters are real.

I love what Alana says at the end of this short video... "I have enough love to overcome all the hate." That's a powerful statement coming from this little lady. I feel the same. And if you are or become the target of any haters, don't give that hate life. I have been the target of hatred by three haters, my own siblings, because of jealously and greed. And the only life I will give that ugly hatred is to bring public visibility to it for exemplary purposes to help other victims.

2019 Equal Justice Works Fellowship Recipient Azin Ahmadi

I love this posting by the UCLA School Of Law for so many reasons. As a woman... as the offspring of immigrants who became naturalized citizens through proper legal process... as a fellow legal professional and UCLA Alumnus... as a double degree holder in the disciplines of Psychology and Sociology... as a supporter of holistic services... as a firm believer in advocacy... and most notably as a victim myself of domestic abuse by my estranged siblings... I really connect with this posting.

Congratulations Ms. Azin Ahmadi. And thank you to the UCLA School Of Law for equality in its admissions process.

When Bad Things Happen To Good People...

Have you ever found yourself doing the right thing and the wrong thing happens? You were telling the truth about something but a liar telling lies was believed over you. You were loyal to someone but that someone betrayed you. You were faithful to your lover but that lover cheated on you. Your personal conduct and work product at a job was of the highest integrity but a dishonest person or group of people behaving badly were endorsed over you. You went to court on a civil matter and told the truth but the magistrate ruled in favor of your opposing party who was engaging in wrongdoing and committing perjury. You showed nothing but love to a family member who did not respond in like kind but instead treated you with hatred.

Why do people doing the wrong thing win while people doing the right thing lose?

An innocent person goes to jail while a violent criminal freely walks the streets. A murderer kills and lives while his/her victim tragically loses their life. An extremist terrorist detonates a bomb seriously harming or killing innocent people and is celebrated by his terrorist group for sheer evil. A thief steals and benefits from the theft while his/her victim suffers the loss. A con artist successfully runs a con game while his/her victim or victims get conned. Ugly; very ugly.

Society seems to reward and celebrate people who engage in improper, illegal, immoral and unethical behavior. This is, to me, completely unacceptable. This is the world that we know but it does not have to be the world that we live in. That is why it is my passion to snatch the curtain back on wrongdoers. I feel that it is my moral obligation if I see or know about something wrong to report it or expose it because where there is wrongdoing there are victims. And I am unequivocally a victim advocate. If you want the world to be a better place, I urge you to do as I do and report and/or expose wrongdoing. Remember the saying that the police uses all the time... "if you see something, say something."

An Eye For The Chiseled Physique

When I was a little girl, my daddy was very fit, muscular and athletic. He cycled in Palos Verdes, CA USA, lifted weights, jumped rope, ran, swam and played soccer. And I inherited that athletic gene from him. I use to sit on my daddy's lap and marvel at his big, rock hard biceps as he flexed for me. And I remember thinking "wow, my daddy is so strong." As it is with most little girls, my father was my hero and my protector. It is no wonder that since childhood I have always had a thing for the muscular, chiseled physique. And I have had the pleasure of not only learning from but being friends with and even dating some of the most famous bodybuilders in the world.

Thanks for sharing Samir!
