Arnold Schwarzenegger's Message To The Russian People Regarding Ukraine

I have a lifelong connection to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger through my career and personal life. And I have had a massive Russian audience to this blog for years. Now those two connections are coming together. You see spiritually how everything thing happens for a reason? It is my sincerest desire that Arnold's video message reaches as many Russian people as possible through my blog and that the intended result is effectuated.

Living On A Prayer

Life is interesting at best and traumatic at worst. I have always been an observer of my surroundings. What an observation I have been making these past several years. I am just sitting here taking it all in.

I have been observing the current President of the United States putting the most effort into race and international relations while all but ignoring significant domestic affairs (i.e., inflation, pollution, homelessness, joblessness, shipping logistical problems, an inadequate and predatory healthcare system, an out-of-control crime problem, a failing justice system, marked anti-police sentiments, wide-spread distrust of the government, etc.). The world’s ecological system is being severely impacted by the irresponsible and reckless actions of individuals and corporations alike. Corporate greed and corruption are prevalent and ever increasing. Crime is at an all-time high. Criminals, scammers and con artists are flourishing. Politicians are still making false promises to get voted into office then engaging in a gross dereliction of duty. Why? For power and position to elevate their own lives and the lives of those in their inner circle while the middle and lower classes suffer. People are desperate and destitute. Instead of our world getting better with knowledge, experience and technological advances, the aforementioned issues caused by the selfish, the evil and the ignorant are taking our world into a rapid downward spiral. I did not think that anything could be worse than the never-ending global pandemic that literally made us afraid to breathe. Alas I was wrong. Now yet another demented, power-hungry leader has started a war at the expense of innocent people en masse.

I am truly heartbroken and speechless. No, I am not being negative. I am being real. One year my good friend Molly O’Neill Taylor asked me “Jacqi, what do you want for Christmas?” My answer was peace. In retrospect, my answer was very profound. Freedom and peace are everything. Let us all pray that Almighty God restore peace unto the world He miraculously created for us to enjoy in freedom. Let us pray for God’s mercy on the suffering.

Don't Hate Because I Am Educated

This posting is dedicated to the memory of fellow UCLA Bruin Brianna Kupfer whose innocent life was taken on January 13, 2022 by alleged killer Shawn Laval Smith.

Below is an email I received from my Alma Mater UCLA. When I receive communications like this it reminds me that it was a privilege to have been accepted to, attended and graduated from such an esteemed, renown university where great people do great things.

When I think of the hatred and jealousy I have been subjected to and have had to endure from certain members of my dysfunctional, broken family it reaffirms just how different I am than them. Ironically one of my worst haters is my recently retired LAPD officer brother Frank together with his cohort Lisbeth "Liz" Sebiane who is of very questionable character.

My education in the discipline of Psychology has allowed me to understand my family dynamic and put the strained and non-existent relationships in their proper perspective. My education, amongst other things, has allowed me to write in an articulate manner about multiple subject matter including, but not limited to, bullying, hatred and the dysfunctional family. I hope that my words and relevant blog postings help others with similar experiences.

Dear UCLA Psychology Alumni and Friends,

On behalf of the Department of Psychology, I wish you a rewarding and healthy year ahead. After a quarter in which we conducted a combination of in-person and remote courses and collaborations, we look forward to increasing educational and scientific activities on campus this quarter, as the circumstances allow. As we traverse a changing academic landscape, it is reassuring that some things remain the same: the excellence of our program and the excellence of our students. In today’s message, I’d like to focus on our outstanding students. The students enrolled in our courses today are the scientists, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow. Please allow me to highlight some of our stars.

Two of our undergraduate students received truly remarkable honors last academic year.

Jiani Li (currently a senior) was selected as one of only three recipients in the nation of the Undergraduate Research Excellence Award by the Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences (FABBS). The FABBS award acknowledges undergraduate student investigators who have conducted research of superior quality and with potentially broad societal impact. In this very sophisticated honors thesis, Jiani wrote code to create representational similarity analyses (RSA) that allow her to examine whether similarities in participants' emotional responses to political videos correspond to their degree of neural synchrony (i.e., common neural fluctuations) across time. In November, Jiani presented her findings to our Department of Psychology Board of Advisors at their second meeting, as did her mentor, Professor Matt Lieberman.

Faaizah Arshad (currently a junior) was honored as one of two recipients of the 2021 Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) Titan Award for Community Support. The first undergraduate to ever earn one of the OHDSI community’s top individual honors, Faaizah assumed a leadership role in creating an inclusive and welcoming space for OHDSI newcomers by co-establishing and leading the new Early-Stage Researchers workgroup. Faaizah also provided an invited presentation on “Applying methods sequentially” during the first plenary session of the 2021 OHDSI Global Symposium. Similar to the unprecedented nature of her earning a Titan Award, Faaizah has been the only undergraduate to date to present at any OHDSI Symposium plenary session.

In addition, our remarkable graduate students consistently earn well-deserved honors. Following are just a few highlights from the last year:

Jennifer Gamarra (Clinical Area) received the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology’s Leadership Education to Advance Diversity (LEAD) Institute Fellow Award.

Joni Brown (Health Area) won the Outstanding Trainee Award at the 2021 Health Preconference for the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.

Akila Kadambi (Cognitive Area), Amanda Baker (Behavioral Neuroscience Area), and Carolyn Ponting (Clinical Area) received the American Psychological Association (APA) Dissertation Research Award.

Gio Ramos (Clinical Area) received the American Psychological Foundation (APF) Queen-Nellie Evans Scholarship.

Claudia Aguirre (BNS Area) was selected for the highly competitive Marine Biological Laboratory Summer Program in Neuroscience, Excellence and Success.

Some of our graduate students are fortunate to be the beneficiaries of our donors’ generosity. Lindsay Meredith (Clinical Area) was selected by the Pritzker Committee for Excellence to receive the second annual Pritzker Graduate Scholar Award, which supports her in 2021-2022. The focus of Lindsay’s research is to develop and advance behavioral and pharmacologic treatments for addiction from a clinical and translational lens, as mentored by Professor Lara Ray. The Pritzker Graduate Scholar Award is intended to support graduate students in the Department of Psychology who demonstrate excellence in the conduct of psychological science with the potential for high public impact. We are deeply grateful to the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation for their incredible generosity and support of our Department and students.

Likewise, we are thankful for the support and friendship of all our donors. During 2020-21, several graduate students received Psychology Department Endowed Fellowships, which are made possible by the generous support of our donors. For example:

Adam Gold (BNS Area) received the Atamdede Fellowship.

Corinne Meinhausen (Health Area) received the John Fels and Sherri Abend-Fels Fellowship.

Crystal Venegas (Clinical Area) received the Irene Kassorla Fellowship.

Shiyun Wang (BNS Area) received the Liu Yunghuo Bei Qui Memorial Fellowship.

Maira Karan (Developmental Area) received the Norma & Seymour Feshbach Doctoral Dissertation Award.

While our outstanding undergraduate and graduate students are diverse in their backgrounds and foci of psychological study, they are connected in their motivation toward excellence. I am honored to support this vibrant community of scholars. I am ever grateful for the support of our alumni and friends, and I look forward to keeping you posted on the exciting developments taking place in Psychology. In the meantime, I encourage you to visit our website to discover more.

With best regards,

You Can Stun At Any Age

Oh this is just Mikey... one of the family from our days at Gold's Gym Venice. For those of us who were there, we'll always have those special memories to cherish. Mikey was always exceptional. I use to look at Mikey at the gym and think "damn, you fine." Ha ha.  Anyway, here he is exemplifying that you can stun at any age. So if you're in your late 30s, 40s, 50s or even 60s, stop trying to look or act young. That's tacky. If you don't like something about yourself, just work on it. Small steps lead to big changes.  A healthy self-esteem is critical to your psychological well-being. Stop resisting what is inevitable. Embrace your age.  Aging is a part the circle of life and a part of your journey. Enjoy the journey for time is passing.

Ode To Movie Star Will Smith

Throughout my journey of life I have been very well connected in the celebrity community through my career and love life. Years ago I use to be very close with actor Alfonso Ribeiro and through my affiliation with Alfonso I had the pleasure of meeting Will Smith in person at a private pajama party at Alfonso's home in Hollywood. Will pulled up in a silver Mercedes sedan, came into the party commanding attention and started rapping one of his hit songs as we all danced. It was wild. Will was a  big TV star at the time and went on to become a huge movie star. Now he's written a book. And I have this very cool memory.

Using Your Platform For The Greater Good

When you see the current state of the world, it is crystal clear that something is very wrong. Day after day you hear the most outrageous things on the evening news. We can attribute this callous lawlessness to hatred, greed, revenge, drugs, alcohol, mental illness or pure evil. Some events strongly appear to be the wrath of God. Whatever the cause, the effects are severe. It is obvious that mankind has separated from Almighty God. If we continue on this ill-fated trajectory, we will certainly be the masters of our own demise. So remember how very important it is to prioritize your faith in God to keep the gift of life in its proper perspective. Cleanse your mind, body, soul and spirit of all that is impure and always walk towards the light.

Thanks for sharing your light Todd Chrisley. We love you.

Evidence For The Police In My Father Efrain "Frank" Seviane's Suspicious Death

I discovered the above photo of my late father in the hospital in 2015 some time ago. When I saw the photo, I was very disturbed. I was disturbed at the content of the photo and the nefarious purposes of those responsible for taking the photo and posting it to social media in a gross violation of my father’s right to privacy. I had to think hard as to whether or not to post this photo because for me it is very painful to see. When I came to the realization of the cold, hard truth that this image was photographic evidence of the malfeasance that took place related to my father’s suspicious death, I knew it was my responsibility to post it for law enforcement to have.

This is a picture of my beautiful father as he lay paralyzed after a severe ischemic stroke. My father's stroke would not have occurred had it not been for the illegal actions of an unethical doctor Hanna Yoshino (Medical License No. A 72259) giving false diagnoses to run a pill mill for profit. This is a doctor who did improper and illegal things for and with my estranged sibling Lisbeth “Liz” Sebiane before and after my father's death; including but not limited to violating HIPPA, falsifying notes in medical records and falsifying diagnoses to benefit from the sale of dangerous prescription pills. This doctor also did this to my elderly mother until it came to my attention and I confronted her on a falsified diagnosis. You can read about Liz here… https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2019/06/elder-abuse-alert-lisbeth-liz-sebiane.html. I don’t know who took the photo but I suspect who did given what I witnessed and experienced at the hospital as my father lay helpless with a traumatic brain injury. Dyeana Bermudez, Lisbeth’s daughter, who goes by the alias Dyeana “Seviane” is the one who posted the photo to social media to advertise my father’s injury and to make it appear to others as if he was just a sick old man who was dying. To gain a better understanding of this tragic story, you can read about Dyeana here... https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2020/12/shining-law-enforcement-spotlight-on.html. Immediately after my father’s stroke, Lisbeth brought her boyfriend Richard Diaz to the Emergency Room and ordered me to leave stating she needed to be alone with Richard and my father even though my father was unconscious. She stated to me "you know I am in charge of dad even though there in nothing in writing." That statement is key as she soon thereafter manufactured a legally invalid document backdated to 2010 purportedly giving her control of my father, his real estate and his remains. In the fraudulent document Liz grotesquely falsified that all of her siblings, including me, got a copy of said fraudulent document so the document would go uncontested. Lisbeth then suspiciously started photographing and videotaping my father in violation of patient privacy laws. She made sure that lots of her friends and my cousins Sebiane were at the hospital and later at her house in Upland, CA where she methodically had my paralyzed, critically ill father transported to die. She did this to make it appear to all as if she was taking care of my father in his invalent state but in the cloak of darkness when no one else was around, Liz did her dirt.

Pictured in the photograph are my estranged siblings retired LAPD Officer Frank Jerry Seviane (Serial No. 32809) and Ana Lorraine Seviane Wilson Giras. It is very obvious to the seasoned law enforcement professional that this is a staged photograph. No one who is truly grieving over an ill person looks up for a photo op as Ana is doing in this photo. People who are grieving don't need to take photos of this type and post them to social media to show that they are grieving. Are you with me? Frank had a very strained relationship with my father. In fact, just two weeks before my father’s stroke I had to take my father to the emergency room where he became distraught and was crying. When I reluctantly called Frank for help, he did not return my call but rather called my mother screaming that he would not help stating he had his own life to live. I know for a fact that this image of him appearing to be grieving is contrived. When the team of LAPD investigators under Captain Brian Thomas of the Internal Affairs Group, Criminal Investigation Division asked me “what do you mean Frank was hovering over your father at the hospital?” this picture answers that question. Individually and collectively Frank and Liz were propagating “do not resuscitate” orders to hospital staff. Each time I tried to intervene or do something to help or comfort my father, I was attacked by Frank and Liz with threats of intimidation, harassment and verbal abuse. Every time I entered the hospital, I had to ask for a security escort. Twice I contacted the LAPD for help to protect my father at the hospital and both times I was muted and ignored by the LAPD because of my brother pulling police officer privilege tactics to cover up what him and Liz were doing. This is how I had the misfortune of meeting controversial LAPD Sergeant Joel Sydanmaa (Serial No. 33196) on September 18, 2015. You can read about Sgt. Joel Sydanmaa  here… https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2016/07/lapd-sergeant-joel-sydanmaa-on-job.htmlSgt. Sydanmaa’s dereliction of duty that day directly contributed to the terrible things that occurred which led to my father’s untimely death. I will soon write a full posting of the events of that day which are very disturbing on so many levels.

Nobody rescued my father when I repeatedly asked for help. My father's death was hastened. There was no proper disposition on a cause or manner of death and no toxicology report because there was no autopsy. Lisbeth concealed the name and location of the funeral home from me then collaboratively with my two other siblings falsified that my father had only three children to circumvent the law that required my signature for a cremation. They did this knowing I refused to sign off because I wanted an autopsy given the suspicious circumstances. My father's death certificate contains incomplete, inaccurate and falsified information reported by the main person of interest in his death Lisbeth "Liz" Sebiane.

There is more to come on this story. This is not a complete statement of the facts.

UGLY SIBLINGS

UGLY DOLLS SIBLINGS

You hear stories all the time of people who hurt or kill innocent victims in their greedy quest for money, real estate and material possessions that they are not legally entitled to. You watch these stories on TV on the news, on 60 Minutes, on Dateline and on 48 Hours on a regular basis. Sometimes movies are made from these terrible real-life stories. A lot of what you are reading on my blog is my real-life story but by the grace of God I am still here to leave an electronic footprint for law enforcement and prosecutors of the events that have unfolded that led to my father's untimely, suspicious death and other unsavory crimes by criminals who have yet to be properly investigated, charged and prosecuted. During the investigative stage in the aftermath of the insurrection at the U.S. Capital in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, you heard numerous incidents of people turning their family members in to the FBI for their family members' participation in the insurrection. Also, remember the story of fraudster Bernie Madoff who ran the largest Ponzi scheme in history to the tune of approximately $60 billion dollars and how he was caught? His own sons had to turn him in to the authorities. Until you are in the position of being affected by unscrupulous family members engaging in illicit activity, you will find it hard to understand why someone has to go against the grain and turn family members in to the authorities. Not everyone's experience of family is a positive one. You can choose your friends but you cannot choose your family.

Pictured in the above photograph are my three much older siblings as follows from left to right: (1) Ana Lorraine Seviane Wilson Giras; (2) retired L.A.P.D. Officer Frank Jerry Seviane, Jr. (Serial No. 32809); and Lisbeth "Liz" Seviane. You can read about Liz here https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2019/06/elder-abuse-alert-lisbeth-liz-sebiane.html and you can read about her daughter here  https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2020/12/shining-law-enforcement-spotlight-on.html

There are many material differences between me and my siblings. They were all born in Costa Rica in abject poverty and I was born in America when my parents had more money. They were all raised with strict military style discipline whereas I was the golden child who was extremely spoiled by both of my parents and the apple of my late father's eye. They are all uneducated whereas I have a degree from UCLA.  They all have a history of financial problems and are otherwise unsuccessful in life. These facts are what caused the seemingly lifelong jealousy, hatred, abuse and harassment I have had to endure at the hands of these three individuals. I remember being bullied and mistreated as a little girl by my siblings but mostly by Frank and Liz. And even as I am posting to this blog exercising my right to freedom of speech pursuant to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, Frank and Liz are harassing me through my elderly mother. They both know my mother to be very troubled yet they continue to escalate her while she is symptomatic directing her to relay veiled threats of bodily harm and impending doom if I don't remove my postings about them which are either factual in nature or based on my opinion.

Before and after my father's untimely death, a lot of wrongdoing occurred; including but not limited to my three siblings engaging in collusion in an attempt to blackmail me over real property that was gifted to me by proper legal process. They also circumvented relevant law to illegally sign off on the cremation of my father's remains when in fact I made it very clear that I would not sign any documents until the San Bernardino County coroner conducted an autopsy. They also prevented me from seeing my father on his death bed even as my father asked for me with what little breath he had. My siblings do everything together in threes. A lot of this illegal activity was facilitated by the fact that my brother was a peace officer employed as an L.A.P.D. officer and his conduct was never questioned because of the misguided assumption of honesty associated with peace officers and the special privileges given to police officers. Those special privileges that my brother repeatedly shielded himself under for over 20 years have recently come to an end with the new policing reform legislation signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom; numerous much needed bills which hold police officers accountable for their conduct. For over 20 years, rank and file at the L.A.P.D. remained complicit on my brother's questionable conduct, his deep-rooted anger issues and his affiliation with convicted felon Colin Nathanson of South Africa who is currently incarcerated in federal prison.

This is not a complete statement of the facts. There is more to come on this story.

California Governor Gavin Newsom Signs Policing Reform Legislation

As the sister of a police officer of the Los Angeles Police Department (Serial No. 32809) I have been very vocal about the improper special privileges, dishonesty and corruption at the LAPD that I experienced and witnessed; including the lack of supervision, oversight and accountability of individual officers engaging in wrongdoing. If you peruse the various postings on this blog, you will find numerous stories of impropriety by certain police officers like LAPD Detective Gerald Gibson, LAPD Detective Mike Johnson, LAPD Sergeant Joel Sydanmaa, LAPD Deputy Chief Pete Zarcone and LAPD Captain Brian Thomas of Internal Affairs Criminal Investigation Division.  Oftentimes bodacious people like me are vilified for speaking out about controversial issues that are not right; like corruption in police departments and police officer misconduct. The murder of George Floyd in 2020 by a Minneapolis Police Officer was the final straw and catalyst for change on policing.

On today's date California Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation creating a system to decertify peace officers for serious misconduct. He also signed legislation increasing transparency of peace officer misconduct records, improving policing responsibility and accountability guidelines, raising eligibility standards and banning harmful restraint techniques.

SB 2 by Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins (D-San Diego) and Senator Steven Bradford (D-Gardena) creates a system within the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training ("POST") to investigate and revoke or suspend peace officer certification for serious misconduct such as excessive use of force, sexual assault and demonstration of bias or dishonesty. This legislation creates the Peace Officer Standards Accountability Division and the Peace Officer Standards Accountability Advisory Board within POST to evaluate serious misconduct cases.

SB 16 by Senator Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley) increases transparency of peace officer misconduct records pertaining to findings of unreasonable or excessive use of force, discriminatory or prejudiced behavior, failure to intervene when witnessing excessive use of force by a peace officer or participation in unlawful searches and arrests.

Governor Newsom also signed AB 26 by Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) which creates guidelines for police officers to intercede and immediately report if a fellow officer is using excessive force. This is huge. Some police officers' may feel that the onerous is being put on them for the misconduct of their peers but this is a game changer with respect to the gang-like mentality that history has shown can permeate a police department and present itself in the field. This is not a break in the thin blue line. This is different. The "see something, say something" mantra should most definitely also apply to police officers in policing. Let's continue to show support for our police officers while also holding them accountable when they step out of line.

Showing Love & Respect To The Elderly

Why does society marginalize the elderly? Some of the most valuable gifts (i.e., knowledge, experience, history, ancestry, heritage, traditions, genetic records, a window into our origin and a glimpse into our future selves) come from the elderly. Why don't people today cherish, protect and celebrate the elderly? In the past ten plus years I watched in astonishment and sadness as my parents aged and were exploited for financial gain by doctors, family members and other random people and entities. And I am using the word "family" very loosely. Unfortunately my beautiful father's life came to an untimely and suspicious end in 2015 as a consequence of this exploitation.
And as a result of this indescribable loss I now hover over my elderly mother like a guardian angel protecting her from every harm out there. I listen intently to every story she tells me about her childhood, my childhood, her struggles, her achievements and her love story with my dad.

Remember to be loving, caring, empathetic, respectful to and protective of the elderly.

Mikey O'Hearn On Aging Gracefully

The #1 myth in this world..
It’s the myth of: “You get worse with age”
A bunch of B.S..
The truth is, age is another word for time⏳.
It tells us how much time somebody has been exposed to.
Now think of time as an element, and when exposed to this element you naturally decay...not just your health, but your relationships your skills, your money (inflation)... everything.
And this element is something you’re exposed to 24/7/365, you can’t run from it.
Now this is a rule for everything on this planet, not just humans.
But humans are unique.
We have the ability to use time to our advantage. We do this by taking the time, investing it into an activity and in turn we grow.
The more you train the more you grow. The more money you invest the more it grows. The more time you spend on your relationship the more it grows etc...
I just told you the secret to success in life.
It’s an equation: Take Time (T) + Action (A) + consistency (C) and you get Growth (G) T+A+C=G
That’s the long game. You Trade time for growth and success will come.
This is one of the most important rules to life. And the people who don’t follow always wish they had.
Everyday I interact with highly successful people and I can tell you for a FACT that 100% of them followed this equation.
And one of those people is Actor/Model (Old school kind of modeling) Antonio Sabato Jr.
He’s consistently investing his time into growth activities and lives a fulfilling live most dream of because of it.
I brought him onto my podcast, Mornings With Titan, and we went deep on this topic.

Stay vigilant. Don’t lighten up, TITAN UP!⁣

Ladies Bring Your A Game

This is inspiration for all women feeling oppressed by sexism. Say "hell no" to the limiting thoughts within. If you want something and don't go after it, you know the result. If you are brave enough to pursue your dreams, success is in the realm of possibility. Here's to females breaking barriers.

Lifting Your Mother On High

The story of Richard Branson is very grandiose. This video letter to his mum and how her life influenced and directed the trajectory of his life is very beautiful.

Don't forget to lift your mother on high and show respect to her if she is still alive or to her memory if she is no longer alive. Even if your childhood was not picture perfect or your relationship with your mother was or is not ideal, remember that she may have experienced hardships that affected who she was or became. Maybe she did the best she could with what she had. Or maybe she made mistakes because she is not perfect or didn't know better. Be aware that even a difficult situation can have a positive influence on your life if you open your heart and mind to the message the universe is sending to you. So whether your relationship with your mother is strong, weak or non-existent, never forget that through her body you were created and breathed life. And that is the most spiritual connection you will ever have with another human being.

Nanny Faye Chrisley Sending Love To The Haters

Nanny Faye Chrisley telling it like it is. Improper as this sentiment may be, sometimes this is what it is. It might not be appropriate to express it, but sometimes as human beings this is how we feel if we are being honest. If you have ever been used, abused, disrespected, demeaned, devalued, mistreated, misrepresented, treated unfairly, lied on, lied about... this is what the sentiment can be and usually is. And even though it is not socially acceptable to express this sentiment, sometimes we feel this way but cannot express it.

Discrimination And Mistreatment Of Disparate Groups Of People

For years there has been discrimination and mistreatment of disparate groups of people (i.e., Italians, Hispanic people, Jewish people, Asian people, black people, homosexuals, transgenders, LPs (i.e., little people), overweight people,  the elderly, the impoverished, etc.). This is simply unacceptable. We cannot rewrite history and we cannot erase hatred but we can educate the ignorant and lead by example. Be an example and do not perpetuate ignorance.

Mama June Rocking The House

June Shannon, aka Mama June, is in the house! Mama June started off as a hillbilly welfare mother who came on the scene through the TV show Toddlers and Tiaras with her then young daughter Alana Thompson who she use to enter in pageants to earn extra money. Unbeknownst to Mama June this simple act would be the vehicle through which she and her family would be discovered and offered a TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." This was a simple, silly show about their redneck, hillbilly lifestyle which at the time was exploding on the reality TV scene. With success of the show came the trappings of money, fame and opportunists looking to capitalize off that money and fame. Soon thereafter came the downfall that mixing with the wrong people usually brings causing that show to be cancelled indefinitely. Luckily for Mama June and her family, Hollywood came knocking again for the second chance at a show "Mama June From Not To Hot" which showcased the road to her physical transformation. Then came the second downfall through her boyfriend Geno Doak which was drug use, addiction, reckless financial decisions and yes legal problems which included jail. Then came a spinoff "Mama June Road To Redemption" which captured, you guessed it, her road to redemption wherein Mama June conquered her drug addiction and escaped a prison sentence for her drug charges. Now cut to today... Mama June is thriving. I love a good come back story. To quote the Jersey Shore's Mike Sorrentino who also successfully emerged from a downward spiral (i.e., addiction and jail)... "the comeback is greater than the setback."

So, if you are struggling and have made some ugly mistakes, remember that you can always turn it around if you learn from those mistakes and make a concerted effort to have a better life. Out of the darkness emerges the light. The light always shines through the darkness.

It's Alright To Feel Lost Sometimes

Heed the message in this story which stopped Simon Cowell in his tracks. The message may be different for each one of you as we all experience and view life from our own unique perspectives. What pulled at my heart strings was the message in the song being beautifully sung by this frail young woman who obviously was, and still is, very ill with the real possibility of death before her. At any moment of any given time this could be anyone of us. If you are healthy, be thankful and empathetic towards those who are not well. If you are ill, be hopeful and pray that God be merciful with the gift that is your life.

Treat Me Right

I don't agree with anyone being mistreated. I don't agree with anyone being treated as less than. We are all human beings and deserve to live with dignity. We can agree to disagree but let's live and let live. Let's try to be decent human beings and treat others as we wish to be treated.

Renown California Attorney Tom Girardi Has Been Disbarred

Erika Jayne, wife of Los Angeles based attorney Tom Girardi, has been flaunting her supposed wealth on the TV show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for several years now. On the show she flagrantly displays her opulent lifestyle and often boasts of her husband's legal skills. The web of lies that was Erika Jayne's and Tom Girardi's seemingly perfect life has now been exposed as a result of the State Bar of California taking legal action against Girardi for having allegedly embezzled millions upon millions of dollars from his clients to whom he owed a fiduciary duty. Here is what the California State Bar is currently saying about the now disgraced attorney:

And here is a related post of Erika Jayne and the now disgraced Tom Girardi with former Los Angeles Police Department Police Chief Charlie Beck: https://jacqibone.blogspot.com/2016/01/lapd-chief-charlie-beck-on-real.html. It is noteworthy that Erika Jayne's son is an LAPD officer which begs the question of what favors, if any, the Girardi's received from the LAPD.
