My father was a sergeant in the military police in the Latin American Armed Forces. Additionally, I have a family member who is
currently a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department. And I have countless friends,
ex-boyfriends and former lovers who are police officers. Police officers risk
their lives every day against seemingly insurmountable obstacles for our safety and security. All honor, dignity and
respect to Officer Keith Wayne Boyer who was killed in the line of duty on 2-20-2017 by a
career criminal.
